Our pupils continue to develop their physical competence and confidence through our high quality physical education programme.
During Key Stage 2 pupils continue to enjoy being active and using their creativity and imagination. They learn many new games and athletic based skills in both competitive and cooperative learning situations. They learn how to evaluate and recognise their own success in dance, games, gymnastics, swimming, athletics and outdoor and adventurous activities.
Physical education provides pupils with the opportunity to be creative, competitive and face up to different challenges as individuals, and in groups and teams. It promotes positive attitudes towards a healthy and active lifestyle.
All Key Stage 2 pupils receive an annual PE report, which details their progress using the end of Key Stage Level descriptors from the National Curriculum.
