As part of our RE topic on ‘Thanking God for Nature’ Year 1S went on a walk around the school grounds to appreciate the different things they could see, hear and smell. The children enjoyed finding different items from nature and writing about them for a display.
Our first history topic this year is castles. The children created pictures of castles using pastel and crayon outlines and sponge printed bricks in either white, brown or grey. The children’s castles look fabulous!
