Year 1 investigated what life would be like if we were missing our sense of sight. The class took it in turns to be blind-folded and have to be guided to an object by another pupil. We discussed why losing one of our senses can make life harder, particularly if it was our sense of sight or hearing. The classes discussed that they felt they needed to walk more slowly and carefully when blind-folded as they were worried about bumping into things.
