Year 3 enjoyed learning all about the festival of Diwali. They had fun creating their own diva lamps made out of clay which they later painted. 3CO found that it was quite tricky at first to shape the clay but by persevering they got the hang of it in the end!
They also created a collaborative Rangoli pattern using real coloured sand! 3CO think that Diwali is a really fun festival to celebrate and lots of children were able to spot similarities between the festival of Diwali and other festivals/events that are celebrated by other people.
