Year 3 started this half term by going back in time all the way to the Stone Age! They visited Celtic Harmony Camp where they learnt many interesting facts such as how to start a fire, how Stone Age tools and weapons were created as well as how people hunted or gathered food. Year 3 had so much fun exploring the Stone Age cave, admiring the cave paintings and especially liked testing out their own survival skills by building dens. It was a great way to start our new topic and the children now have lots of new knowledge which they can build on in our topic lessons.
