After a delayed start due to torrential rain and the threat of thunderstorms, Reception were finally able to set off on their trip to Hylands Park. They spent their time exploring various Forest School activities, including mud stencilling, puppet tv, mud kitchen, bubble wand making, spider noughts and crosses and bug hunting. After lunch, a special treat of toasted marshmallows over the campfire. After they were heated for a short time, everyone had to count to 20 to allow the marshmallows to cool before eating them. Everyone agreed that they were delicious!
