Upper Kindergarten celebrated Chinese New Year last week. They had the opportunity to try some Chinese food. Most of the children really enjoyed the food, saying it was really yummy. They have used their cutting and creative skills to make their own lanterns and with a fine paint brush they used their fine motor skills to write ‘hello’ in Chinese characters. In our pop up Chinese restaurant, the children used their imagination and took turns being waiters and waitresses.
