We have introduced the exciting new Jigsaw scheme in our school assembly to pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2. Jigsaw, the mindful approach to PSHE, brings together Personal, Social, Health Education, emotional literacy, social skills and spiritual development in a comprehensive scheme of learning. The children have met the entertaining Jigsaw Friends as well as Jigsaw Jerrie Cat who reminds children to stop and think, so as to practice observing their thoughts and feelings. Pupils are all enjoying working on their first Jigsaw topic which focuses on ‘Being Me in My World’.
