Understanding Childhood is an independent not-for-profit enterprise that provides downloadable information for families and childcare professionals. The organisation produces leaflets and booklets written by experienced child psychotherapists to give an insight into children’s feelings and views of the world. They were partly designed to help parents and those who care for, and/or work with, children and families to make sense of their behaviour.
There is a large list of these publications available and some will more relevant than others, depending on the age of your child.
The following publications have been circulated to parents at the start of this new academic year.
