Before printing with Duplo to create repeating patterns, Owls had to plan their pattern. Would it be based on colour, size, quantity or a combination of the three?
Once dried and on display, the children were challenged to identify whether the display showed repeating patterns and how they knew. The reasons given for their responses varied depending on whether they started from the left or right of the display.
Teachers were proud to see that everyone correctly identified whether each pattern repeated.
