Year 1 enjoyed a sunny journey to St Mary’s Church in Loughton to hear about the Easter story from Reverend Malcolm.
The talk was engaging, especially when children were invited to open a little Easter egg. They also discussed the one thing you would try or give up for Lent. Pupils came up with really thoughtful answers, especially Zaydan saying he would go outside more and some of 1C saying they would give up chocolate!
