The annual Oaklands Carol Service was a resounding success! St Mary’s Church once again provided a picturesque setting for our festive afternoon of carols.
The children put on a wonderful event, describing to the audience how other countries celebrate Christmas with specific foods and traditions. There were showstopping whole school numbers as well as note-perfect instrumental pieces.
Thank you to Curate Ruth How who welcomed our school to the church and, with the help on the children and their animated answers, gave a lovely blessing to parents, staff and pupils.
In the spirit of giving, we concluded the service with a collection for Epping Forest Foodbank, a gesture that will undoubtedly bring joy to those in need this festive season. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generosity.
