In class 1W, we were exploring Autumn objects. We took our learning outside, collecting conker shells, fallen leaves and tree bark.
Children were invited to think about descriptive words for these items, describing the thick, oozy mud and spikey, colourful conker shells. We used our senses and gathered ideas, before writing a poem. Pupils confidently and eloquently presented their poem to the class.
