The Woodpeckers have been exploring weight and capacity in Maths. We investigated using scales and magic potions, matching the potions to the correct capacity picture. In teams, we identified how to make the scales balanced and why they tip. The children then used cereal to measure their own capacities and matched them to the potion bottles.
