Oaklands staff members Miss Carter and Mr. Crane took part in the London to Brighton Cycle Ride on Sunday 16th June.
Miss Carter sadly lost her mother to cancer very early on. Her mother passed away at the tender age of 46. Mr. Crane lost his good friend John to cancer. John was 36 years of age. Miss Carter’s grandson is currently battling cancer. He is 16.
For all these reasons and more, the decision was made to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The total amount of money collected has now exceeded £700!
