Over the past few weeks, the children in Lower Kindergarten have watched their caterpillars grow and build their cocoons. The children were amazed to come into school one morning and found that our caterpillars had emerged from their cocoons. We had five beautiful butterflies in our net. The children were very excited and over a couple of days, we fed them and watched them closely before finally, releasing them within our outside area.
