Maths Fair

The Year 5 and 6 children were challenged to be mathematicians for half a day and manage their own maths stall at Friday’s maths fair. They did a fantastic job in planning their own stall, designing posters, marketing the fair and on the day, challenging the children with differentiated maths problems that needed to be solved.

There were so many different kinds of stalls, the flower boutique where the children had to add flower petals together, maths UNO, guess the shape, fast food stalls, tumbling numbers, lucky ducks, scrumptious maths, Ade Island filled with treasure to find, rounding up and down games, number quizzes and plenty more.

KS1 and KS2 were invited to support the Year 5 and 6 children and they all had a fun-filled morning with lots of house points up for grabs.

Thank you to everyone who supported the children and made this event a spectacular morning filled with numbers. Well done to all the Year 5 and 6 children. You have done an outstanding job!
